July into August at Dreadnoughtrock - ye canny beat it !

So to the last weekend of July. After a good lie down in a dark corner after the awesomeness of last weekend, as believe me you will need it with WHAT'S ON this weekend and into AUGUST.
Oh and nae luck if you missed it.
To kick July into Touch we have THREE yes THREE Nights lined up for this weekend. A cheeky wee Sunday Session has been slipped in too if you didn't already know.
So opening things up we have a braw triple header featuring some excellent local bands, two of which are making their debut.
Lets be seeing you in for COUSIN KENNY, THE RUSE and IDKid on Friday 29 of July. Doors at 7pm - live action commencing from 8.15/30 mark thro till 11pm.
Saturday has a change of direction to keep everyone on their toes. Another debut band in the shape of VIDA LEE supporting the new look TOM KILLNER BAND. Tom appeared in 2015 with Lewis Hamilton on a brilliant night of RockBlues so it is an honour to welcome the guys back for their own headline event at long last.
Tickets are just a fiver in advance and on the door on the night. You won't be disappointed and at a fiver a steal.
Doors at 7pm again with Vida Lee performing an acoustic set from back 8.15 ish mark with Tom and Co on stage around 9.15 thro till 11pm.
Now talking about a steal. £5 for nearly a dozen bands on Sunday is just a no brainer. ALL ticket sales are heading straight to MacMillan Cancer Support as ALL bands give up their time and talent to support the day and 40 years of Mike Wynne playing in various bands over the decades marking quite an achievement. Looking forward from when it all began many would have said his musical journey might have lasted 40 minutes never mind 40 years. A fantastic achievement in any musicians book so please join us not just to raise a glass to Mike but to raising some cash for a very needed support system in Scotland.
I know it's going to be a long day but it'll be worth it.
Please remember you can come and go during the day if you need fed or to let the cat out etc so if you fancy a wee bit in the afternoon then back at night you can as long as you keep your wristband ON !
Joining in the fun at short notice is GoodBye Mr MacKenzies Martin Metcalf. He'll be here walking among you later on the day then playing with THE FILTH later to go along with....deep breath.....
UNCLE RED , CASH FROM CHAOS, THE GIMME GIMME GIMMES, TRIPWIRE DC, EX- , WAKE THE DEAD , THE MELNICKS, SRV, FIERY JACK, THE EXHUMED BONES and last but not least Mikes band THE FRAUDS. We light up the engines at 12 NOON and Rock thro till 11pm in a day and backshift session. Pace yersels. I'm sure you'll agree that's some typing for just a weekend especially when August is just next week noo. So sit up and pay attention to What's hitting the stage next month to compliment Scotland's Longest Running Rock club that's been rocking for 44 years now.

6 Aug - NORDOFF ROBBINS ROCKS NIGHT with THE TOI, STONEFACE and TANTRUM - Tickets still available but get a bloody shift on !
12 Aug - SLADE UK - Show us your flares as we celebrate 50 years of Slade ! Aye 50...5...0. Make sure you get a ticket for a foot stomping night from the very best tribute you will clap your hands to.

20 Aug - STEELER return and if the rumours are true could be the final frontier for big Les on lead vox. Either way don't miss a cracking night of Rock covers.
26 Aug and into the hame straight we go with a cracking double header from local lads THE PALMIROS kicking off the night ahead of RED LIGHT DISTRICT who I'm pretty sure you will enjoy their blend of original music.
So the last one of August. All I can say is let the mayhem commence with THE GIMME GIMME GIMMES along with Malfunction and Frank Satan....What have I done on 27 August.

Full details as ever over at the website or the Facebook Event listed for EACH and every gig we do. All ye have to do is click around a wee bit and ye shall find....
