November Rocks at Dreadnoughtrock

Now that the dust has settled on Rocktober and we have caught up after the mayhem of the Halloween Weekender we now look forward to a month of some fantastic Live music and Rock Club action in November.

Internationally renowned Martin Turner, the founding member, former frontman and bassist for WISHBONE ASH kicks things off THIS Friday (4 Nov) with a night of Wishbone Ash and beyond. A Fantastic opportunity not only to see Martin and the band right on your own doorstep but to meet and speak to him afterwards no doubt in a rare Scottish trip and the very first time in West Lothian. Tickets are still available online
for those last minute gig goers but please note will be closed at 2pm on gig day. A small allocation has been made available on the night also so would still be great even at last minute for you to make it along for a cracking night of Classic Rock at Dreadnoughtrock.

Saturday night (5 Nov) and another cracking night of Fireworks of our own kind as the Live music session is headlined by an awesome band from the North of England on tour that cannot be passed up called THE JOKERS. If you haven't heard of them go and get clicking - listen to their albums then get a ticket to come along and catch them live. You won't be disappointed. Supported by Black Sun and Pyro you can get more info on the event and a ticket at

Next Friday 11 November I will admit will be a hard one to lure the couch dwellers away from Scotland v England on the telly but let me tell you to do just that as we have a rare outing for COHOLIC and the Debut of an equally fantastic band that has sold out on numerous occasions in King Tut's - PATERSANI. It's only £3 at the door so after the first 10/15 mins of the boys in Blue getting done in get along to the Dread and put some Rock n Roll into the night.

Next Saturday (12 Nov) welcomes back STILL MARILLION a firm fav with us for what is looking like another Sold Out show with ticket sales very advanced to the point you might struggle to get in on the night if you don't act fast and buy in advance !

Friday 18th Nov gets THE SIGNS back in action at Dreadnoughtrock and a night of Rock Covers to get out and enjoy.
The Bathgate based band always bring their A game and as it's been nearly 10 months since their last show due to a hectic schedule on both sides a must see one.

Sat 19th November STRAIGHTEN OUT are back a year on. Sadly Phil broke himself enough that the scheduled May event had to be cancelled but I'm sure the wait will be worth it for a night of some classic STRANGLERS action from the best in the World....and some might say better than the real thing. All we know is they are called the stig...sorry wrong show. Please note ALL May tickets still out there or bought online are still valid for tonight's show.
If you still don't have one go get one in advance as I've a feeling this could be a busy one.

Friday 25th November is one you don't want to miss. We took the plunge last year and invited The Pat McManus Band along to Bathgate on a THURSDAY and what a night it turned out to be. Assaulted by nearly two hours of musicianship that made for many their standout live show of the year and still crack on about it. So whether you remember Pat's Band THE MAMA's BOYS show in the Kaim Park all those decades in nearly 4 decades ago btw, you have to come and see the Professor as he is known twist and turn you inside out with some classic tunes from back in the day to go along with a wealth of Pat's own back catalogue material.
Tickets and more info at
Support from the stunning Stuart McLean and equally good looking Amy Hawthorn.

To round off a varied line up of Live music we get all YeeHarr and welcome back Country Rock Band URBAN CREEK who really light the place up back in August to the point of getting asked weekly...when are they back...when are they back...
Well the last gig of November is the night. Ensure those who missed it get plenty reminders and catch this one.

Now if all that wasn't enough for you which only gets our Friday and Saturday nights off the ground we follow on the night EVERY WEEKEND till 3am with Rock Club action upstairs.
Remember your cover charge for the live session automatically gains you entry to Scotland's longest running Rock Club. Something you don't get anywhere else in town or indeed in the county.
